Where it began

Some ideas don’t arrive all at once. They take shape over years, through little moments you don’t think much of at the time.

For Aditi, Lovesolo began somewhere in childhood, in a life surrounded by trees and flowers, mornings spent outdoors, the feeling of soil beneath her feet, and little rituals that made ordinary days feel beautiful.

Growing up, she carried those things with her. And somewhere along the way, she began searching for that feeling again. She searched for home in cities, in people, in achievements. Until she realised that perhaps home was never a place she had left behind. It was a way of living she had slowly moved away from.

LoveSolo is her way of finding her way back.

Back to nature.
Back to making.
Back to the pleasure of taking time.

What led us here..

Five years ago, Aditi began The Solo Studio ,a space built around natural dyes, plants, traditional processes and the joy of learning with your hands.

What began as an exploration of colour became something much larger: years spent with plants, artisans, materials and people, and a community built around making.

And over those years, one thing became increasingly clear, These were the things she craved more of in the world.

More time with nature.
More making for the joy of it.
More connection.
More things made with care.

And perhaps, less of the opposite.

Less excess. Less disposability. Less distance between the person who makes something and the person who eventually lives with it.

Lovesolo grew from that realisation.

A hand-cast brass button from Bhujodi.
A stitch of Chikankari.
A textile that might otherwise have been forgotten.
A small detail that exists simply to make you smile.

We believe in bringing people together through an object, the grower, the dyer, the artisan, the embroiderer, the tailor, and eventually, the person who makes it part of their everyday life.

We choose materials and processes that allow the things we make to live gently in the world. We make slowly, thoughtfully and in small quantities.

And perhaps that is what Lovesolo is ultimately about: Not having more, but noticing more.

The flowers.
The fabric.
The changing light.
The people who make things.
The little details that become part of our everyday rituals.

LoveSolo is a little glimpse into the life we imagine.
And perhaps, a way of coming home.
